AUSTRALIA 10½ DAYS
IMPERIAL AIRWAYS AND
ASSOCIATED COMPANIES

Artist: Albert Brenet

Again pushing the speed theme, which was any airlines best advantage over other transport methods, this poster shows Imperial Airways' ten-and-a-half- day route from England to Australia.
This was extremely quick for the time as to go by sea would take around six weeks.

There was only one part of the route which was unable to be flown, which was between Paris and Brindisi, due to the Italian government not allowing planes originating in France to fly over its territory.
